Howdy!  My name is Nancy Macmanus and I will be your child's 7th Grade Texas History teacher this year.  This is my fifth year at W.B. Green Junior High and my 7th year teaching.  I received my degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in College Station.  I have lived in Harlingen, TX for 21 years with my husband and five children.  Before living in Harlingen, my husband was stationed with the U.S. Army in  Columbia, Missouri, Atlanta, Georgia and Fort Greely, Alaska.  We have seen many exciting places in the United States and have traveled extensively in Texas.  We love our home state.  I look forward to sharing my adventures with your children in hope that they may want to create their own adventures someday.  Until then, we will learn about how our great state came to be.
