About Us

W.B. Green Junior High School is part of the La Feria Independent School District located in the center of the Rio Grande Valley. In 1993, the La Feria Middle School was established and dedicated in honor of William B. Green III who loyally and with dedication served the children of the La Feria Independent School District and the community of La Feria for 38 years as a teacher, coach, elementary principal, curriculum director, high school principal and superintendent of schools. In 2003, sixth grade was moved to Noemi Dominguez Elementary and William B. Green became a junior high school.
William B. Green Jr. High School is a closed campus. The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m. with a tardy bell at 8:00 a.m. Classes start promptly at 8:00 a.m. and classes are dismissed at 4:00 p.m.

This school is dedicated to the belief that all children can learn if we expect them to. If they achieve so can they excel. The school will work to educate every child to the fullest of his or her potential and to prepare these children for a productive place in the world they will inherit as adults. The goal of this school is to prepare life-long learners for the world of tomorrow.
